I LOVE gardening and it has been warm recently, so I have been spending a lot of time outside. So much to do after a long NW winter: pruning, pulling weeds, mowing, and planting. The latter is my favorite - sometimes I do
the other things with the idea that planting new plants is my reward. I love flowers, so I hope you enjoy the
pictures of some of my favorites that are currently in bloom.

We have also started our organic vegetable garden which includes: snap peas, corn, radishes, lettuce, carrots, and strawberries right now. We are adding tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, and zucchini later...and probably pumpkins near the end of summer. We also have a pear tree that is looking great and may give us pears for the first time this year (it's year 3). I will post pictures when the vegetable garden is flourishing!

  1. Stunning pictures , great Blog you have , will be following you from now on :)

  2. Thanks for the compliment. I am always working on taking better pictures!

  3. I enjoy gardening too, except for the weeding part. My son and I planted peas and two kinds of beans. Check out my strictly gardening blog, I am in the Pacific Northwest too.

  4. I usually grow herbs but this year I've got japanese eggplant and tomatoes too :)
