My newest creation...

So I got an idea from a mix of some pieces I found online and an idea on a home decorating TV show and came up with this! I am painting wooden picture frames and adding coordinating floral fabric. Most of them will be white or off-white frames with various floral, shabby chic style fabrics (pictured).

I plan to sell a variety of sizes so that people can create a sort of collage with them as well. This is a very fun project that I am excited about - I don't usually work with fabric, but I love all of the designs!

Gardening

I LOVE gardening and it has been warm recently, so I have been spending a lot of time outside. So much to do after a long NW winter: pruning, pulling weeds, mowing, and planting. The latter is my favorite - sometimes I do

the other things with the idea that planting new plants is my reward. I love flowers, so I hope you enjoy the

pictures of some of my favorites that are currently in bloom.

We have also started our organic vegetable garden which includes: snap peas, corn, radishes, lettuce, carrots, and strawberries right now. We are adding tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, and zucchini later...and probably pumpkins near the end of summer. We also have a pear tree that is looking great and may give us pears for the first time this year (it's year 3). I will post pictures when the vegetable garden is flourishing!

New Store Banner!

Finally found a banner for my etsy store that I like. I love light green and wanted pink for that necessary feminine touch and I really like toille. I don't know how important a nice banner really is, but I am excited about it. (It looks like this one. - left)
